Liz Vassey began her acting profession when she was just nine years old. She has since appeared in more than fifty plays and musicals. In order to be the part of All My Children, Liz Vassey made the move her family to New York when she was sixteen years old. In recognition of her work and performance, she was awarded a Daytime Emmy. From then on, Liz has made guest appearances as a regular character on a total of twelve shows on television, among them ER Maximum Bob Necessary Roughness, Brotherly Love and Push Nevada Two and a Half Men the live-action version of FOX's adaptation from The Tick and most recently Season Two of the reboot of The Tick on Amazon. But she's probably best known for her role as DNA technician Wendy Simms on the television show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation where she appeared for five years. Liz was also a part of a variety of TV pilots, movies and shows. Liz is a highly skilled writer as well as having a successful acting career. She was a writer on the last season of CSI, and sold the show to 6 TV pilots, 1 TV movie and many other projects. They are currently in the process of development at NBC Freeform Universal Netflix The CW as well as a host of other networks. Liz is a keen and competitive runner. She recently debuted as a filmmaker with The Human Race, the latest documentary. It focuses on runners over 50 years old. Liz Emmerichs as well as David Emmerichs, her husband, reside in Hollywood in California. They are a couple with a family which includes the number of animals along with their kids. Swallow's roles in film and television have included a character on Ringer as well as the spouse of a police officer on Southland. The bounty hunter, too, was a part on the CBS The Odds pilot. The Odds. Swallow also played the mermaid on Flight of the Conchords, as well as in the Shana Sosin-directed independent production The Rift.
