Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles to a middle-class family. She grew up with dreams of great heights. Her best roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the dramatic Precious. While growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many goals. Instilling a passion for film within her daughter was a skill that was a gift from her mother who was also a fan of movies. Paula participated in co-curricular programs at her school, and was a drama enthusiast. Her classmates and she played together and took part in the school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the location of numerous school plays. She made the decision to train as an actor. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. She started her career as a TV production assistant after completing this assignment. Then, she switched to produce documentaries. Although she enjoyed her career, she still dreamed of becoming an actress. She started her acting career with a small character in the film romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. Since then, she's been in numerous well-known television and film shows.
