King Von was actually Dayvon Daquan Bennett. King Von was born in Chicago on August 9, 1994, to Walter and Taesha. There were three brothers and two sisters from his maternal grandmother. The father of the child had six half-siblings. Bennett was mostly raised by his mother due to his father's frequent stints in prison. He was killed by his father and shot when Bennett was 11. Bennett was just 16 at the time he was in jail in the first instance. This was not the beginning of his many encounters in the face of the law. Following his release, Bennett was awarded college credit from South Suburban College, South Holland, Illinois. In the aftermath of legal troubles, Bennett tried to make a comeback and pursue his music career. He collaborated often along with Lil Durk. A posthumous album, "What It Means to be King" is due out in March 2022.
