Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress, who primarily works in Hindi film. She is one of the most highly paid actresses in India with her accomplishments that include three Filmfare Awards. Time magazine named her one of 100 influential people all over the world in 2018. The award also included with the TIME100 Impact Award for 2022. Padukone was a daughter of Badminton's champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born and raised in Bangalore. In her teens she competed in badminton competitions at national level. She later quit her sport in pursuit of a job as a fashion designer. She soon began receiving offers to act in films and her first acting job was playing Aishwarya, the Kannada main character. Padukone was paired with Shah Rukh Khan a dual part for Om Shanti Om, her first Bollywood film, which was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award as Best Female Debut. Padukone received praise for her starring role in the film romance Love Aaj Kal (2009), but this was followed by a brief loss.
